In the auction procedure, the vendor places a binding offer regarding the conclusion of a contract for gas storage rights on the trading platform.


The vendor has to stipulate a time limit for the offer during which a bidder can submit a binding bid. This time limit may not exceed three months.


In the bid, the bidder is obligated to stipulate all the information requested in the vendor's offer. The bidder accepts the offer by submitting his offer and at the same time declares his consent to having the bid forwarded to the vendor after the expiration of the time limit, provided that this bid is the highest bid over the starting price or this bid is the only bid that corresponds to the starting price at this time.


The bid will expire, if another bidder submits a higher bid by the end of the time limit.


A legally binding contract regarding the gas storage rights is always concluded between the vendor and the bidder with the highest bid over the starting price in the auction procedure once the time limit expires. If only one bid corresponding to the starting price has been submitted, the contract regarding the gas storage rights will be concluded between the vendor and the bidder who has submitted this bid once the time limit expires. store-x will inform the vendor and the bidder who has won the auction about the conclusion of the contract.

In the multi-auction procedure, the vendor simultaneously places at least two offers with identical contents (Package) on the trading platform. The vendor has to stipulate a starting price, a bid interval and an offer period (three months at maximum) during which a bidder can submit a binding bid.
The bidder shall be entitled to issue a bid in respect of an offer and / or several bids in respect of several offers each case at a maximum package price as stipulated by him.
A bid assistant supports the bidder through the automatic issue of bids within the scope of the interval stipulated by the vendor and the maximum price laid down by the bidder. The bidder shall be entitled to increase his maximum price per package during the running multi-auction procedure. The offers placed in the multi-auction procedure and the bids issued in respect thereof represent in each case binding declarations of intent to conclude a contract. Should the bidder, within the framework of a bid, bid for a certain number of Packages, he hereby bids for up to this number of Packages up to a maximum price per package. The bid comprises, in such cases, the agreement of the bidder to a knock-down to a smaller number of Packages at the maximum price per package stipulated by him.
On expiry of the offer, period the highest bids above the minimum price and the contact data are sent to the vendor. Should several, equal bids have been issued, the bid issued at the earliest point in time shall take precedence. The contract or contracts for the capacity rights, taking into account the number of Packages offered and the highest bid received by store-x, shall be concluded on expiry of the offer period between the vendor and the bidders with the highest bid.

As part of the Keyed Procedure, the vendor issues an invitation to tender (so-called "invitatio ad offerendum"). In response, the bidder has to submit a binding declaration of intent in the form of a bid.

The vendor has to stipulate a time limit for the invitation to tender, within which the bidder may submit a binding offer. This limit may not exceed three months.

In his bid, the bidder is obligated to provide all of the information required in the vendor's ad. The bid submitted is binding. By sending his bid to store-x, the bidder declares his consent to the bid being forwarded to the vendor after the expiration of the time limit. store-x will forward all offers submitted by bidders to the vendor after the expiration of the invitation to tender (time limit). store-x will inform the bidders who have submitted bids about the forwarding of their offers to the vendor.

The vendor is authorized, but not required, to accept one of the offers forwarded to them by store-x. This means that as part of a keyed procedure, a legally binding contract for capacity rights will only come about pursuant to the statutory regulations within the framework of general legal conditions only after the vendor informs the bidder that the bid and offer have been accepted. This notice of acceptance must occur within the periods as set forth in the GTCs.

In the Buy-it-now procedure, the vendor places a binding offer regarding the conclusion of a contract for gas storage capacity rights on the trading platform.

The vendor has to stipulate a fixed price and a time limit for the offer during which a bidder can submit a binding bid. This time limit may not exceed three months.

In the bid, the bidder is obligated to stipulate all the information requested in the vendors offer. The bidder accepts the offer by submitting his bid to store-x and, at the same time, declares his consent to having the bid forwarded to the vendor.

A legally binding contract regarding the gas storage rights is always concluded between the vendor and the bidder upon receipt by store-x of a bid - regardless of the expiry of the offer period. store-x shall inform the vendor and the purchasing bidder making this first bid of the conclusion of the contract.

As part of the search procedure, the person seeking capacity rights ("seeker") places a search in the trading platform. The bidder has to submit a binding declaration of intent in the form of a bid.

The seeker has to specify a time limit for the invitation to tender, within which the bidder may submit a bid. This limit may not exceed three months. In his bid, the bidder is obligated to provide all of the information required in the seeker's search. The bid submitted by the bidder is binding and by sending his bid to store-x, the bidder declares his consent to this bid being forwarded to the seeker after the expiration of the time limit. store-x will inform the bidders who have submitted bids about the forwarding of their bids to the seeker.

The seeker is authorized, but not obligated, to accept one of the bids sent to him by store-x. In the search procedure, a legally binding contract for capacity rights will only come about pursuant to the statutory regulations at the time when the seeker's message that he has accepted this bid is received by the bidder. This notice of acceptance must occur within the periods as set forth in the GTCs.

In a Price Reduction Procedure the vendor places a determined number of storage packages on the trading platform.
The vendor must name a starting price, a minimum price and clearly defined time and price reduction interval for the storage packages. They must also determine a starting time as well as the number of Packages to be offered. The minimum price may be changed at a later time.

In contrast to a standard auction, a Price Reduction Procedure begins with a starting price in the form of a maximum price for the predetermined number of storage packages. During the Price Reduction Procedure, the current price will be reduced by predetermined sums (price interval) at the set time interval. A minimum of two rounds must be possible for the values entered. A round lasts as long as the time interval selected. The maximum length for a Price Reduction Procedure is five days not including weekends, holidays and non-trading days.

During the individual time interval, potential bidders may acquire the available packages at the currently valid price. The First Come First Served principle applies. Bids may be placed for several packages at the same time. If the desired number of Packages is no longer available because simultaneous, competing bids are placed, the bidder will receive a corresponding error message and be able to place a new bid within the new package availability parameters. If a new round should begin during the bid submission, the bidder shall receive a corresponding error message and will be able to submit a new bid within the parameters of the new round.

Additionally, the potential bidders have the option of being informed per email when a certain price limit has been reached (price agent).

The Price Reduction Procedure ends when all packages have been awarded or the minimum price has been reached.
